Nicole Reiss

PT, DPT, COMT

Nicole is Potrero Physical Therapy's clinic manager and full time physical therapist. Originally from Canada, Nicole received a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from McMaster University and her doctorate of physical therapy from Gannon University. She has continued her education in a variety of physical therapy topics, including a two year COMT certification, the annual UCSF Sports Medicine conference, the Maitland-Australian Approach, and TMD. Nicole treats acute and chronic conditions, both surgical and nonsurgical, using exercise and manual techniques such as cupping, IASTM, and taping. She has a passion for squats and lunges. Nicole enjoys skiing, snowboarding, cycling, diving and, if the pond's frozen, hockey.

Jessica Poon

PT, DPT

Jessica is a proud San Francisco native who embarked on a journey to enhance lives through physical therapy. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology from San Francisco State University before venturing to sunnier climates to pursue her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of St Augustine in San Marcos, CA. Having explored diverse settings and locations, from outpatient orthopedics in the desert to skilled nursing facilities in Texas, Jessica has gathered a wealth of experience. However, the allure of her hometown proved irresistible, prompting her to return to San Francisco. As a clinician, Jessica is dedicated to continuous learning, regularly undertaking additional education courses and using different techniques (such as IASTM, MFD, McKenzie) to stay at the forefront of her field. Her approach to physical therapy is centered on open communication, empowering patients with the knowledge and exercises essential for a successful return to functional activities. Jessica's commitment to bringing about positive rehabilitative outcomes is evident in her patient-centered care.

Outside of the physical therapy realm, Jessica has a zest for life. You might find her experimenting with new baking recipes, hitting the gym for a good workout, indulging in Netflix series, or trying to catch the energy of a live concert or festival.

Jessica is fluent in Cantonese.

Leslie Muñoz

PT, DPT

Leslie was born and raised in San Mateo, CA. While most of her childhood was spent close in proximity to San Francisco, it wasn't until she moved here for graduate school that she fell in love with the city's vibrant energy and diverse communities. Leslie grew up dancing Mexican Folkloric and running track and field which made her develop an interest in the body's capabilities and movement. She attended Sonoma State University for her undergraduate studies where her interest for physical therapy began to take shape. Personal experiences with injuries, both her own and within family, highlighted the importance of rehabilitation and sparked her desire to help others recover and thrive. This led her to pursue a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from University of California, San Francisco/ San Francisco State University. She gained comprehensive training in managing various orthopedic injuries and post-surgical rehabilitation through manual therapeutic techniques, functional mobility, strength training and patient education. Leslie is dedicated to using her background and experiences to support others in their healing journey and help return to activities they enjoy. Outside of physical therapy, you can find Leslie at Golden Gate Park for her daily run, at the gym for a good workout, playing pickleball with friends, sitting on the couch reading a good mystery book or watching a classic Disney movie. Leslie is fluent in Spanish.

Gabriel Zurita-Haber

PT, DPT

Dr. Gabriel Zurita-Haber, PT, DPT, received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of California-San Francisco/San Francisco State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from The College of Idaho.

Gabriel was born and raised in the Bay Area where he played football at DVC before transferring to The College of Idaho. He overcame various injuries during his time on and off the field, which drove him not only to understand how to return to his baseline but go beyond and promote preventive care. He seeks to assist his patients by giving them the tools to take control of their function and injuries. He takes an individualized approach to treatment that may include manual therapy, education, and functional strength training to help his patients reach their goals.

In his free time, Gabriel enjoys lifting weights, hiking, being outdoors, and volunteering with the athletic trainers at city college.

Lance Harriman

MSPT

Lance is the clinic's owner and has worked in the physical therapy field since 1996. He is an active diver and snowboarder, as well as an expert surfer having surfed Mavericks consistently since 1995. Lance has extensive experience in outpatient orthopedics, including a special emphasis on knee and shoulder injuries. With his surfing background and orthopedic physical therapy experience, Lance has become the go to person for surfing related injuries. He occasionally helps out as a member of the onsite healthcare team at ASP (Association of Surfing Professionals) events in California. He is also involved with Operation Rainbow, a nonprofit organization dedicated to performing free orthopedic surgery for indigent children and young adults in developing countries worldwide. Lance has gone on multiple medical missions to countries in Central and South America. He also leads the aquatic therapy program offered by the clinic.
