Lance Harriman

Lance

Lance is the clinic's owner and has worked in the physical therapy field since 1996. He is an active diver and snowboarder, as well as an expert surfer having surfed Mavericks consistently since 1995. Lance has extensive experience in outpatient orthopedics, including a special emphasis on knee and shoulder injuries. With his surfing background and orthopedic physical therapy experience, Lance has become the go to person for surfing related injuries. He occasionally helps out as a member of the onsite healthcare team at ASP (Association of Surfing Professionals) events in California. He is also involved with Operation Rainbow, a nonprofit organization dedicated to performing free orthopedic surgery for indigent children and young adults in developing countries worldwide. Lance has gone on multiple medical missions to countries in Central and South America. He also leads the aquatic therapy program offered by the clinic.

David Silkey

David has been practicing physical therapy since 1996. He has worked in a variety of settings, with a strong emphasis on outpatient and sports rehabilitation. While experienced in the treatment of a wide variety of musculoskeletal injuries/conditions, David has a particular interest in injuries of the shoulder, knee, and foot/ankle. He is adept in lower extremity biomechanical analysis including evaluation, fabrication, and implementation of orthotics. David received his "Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist" certification from the NSCA in 2000. A year-round athlete and competitive canoe paddler, David is able to understand the needs of high-level athletes and weekend warriors alike.

Daria Ivan

Daria has been practicing physical therapy since 2001. She has worked in a variety of settings including inpatient, assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, and outpatient orthopedics. Before moving to the Bay Area, she was a traveling physical therapist and was awarded Traveler of the Year in 2007 by Healthcare Traveler magazine. With a competitive sports background and playing Division 1 Collegiate tennis she understands the importance of orthopedic rehab and has a particular interest in injuries of the shoulder, knee, and ankle. She also has experience and an interest in aquatic therapy, post-op rehab, and geriatric patients. In her spare time she enjoys swimming, skiing, and traveling.

Bryce Burton

Bryce Burton received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Wichita State University in 2014. He has worked as a traveling physical therapist, in addition to working in an outpatient clinic specializing in sports and orthopedic rehab. Dr. Burton enjoys working with a variety of orthopedic conditions with the goal of returning his patients to their optimal level of function. Through various treatment options such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise and patient education, Bryce is able to guide his patients towards reaching their full potential. His passion is providing his clients individualized and focused patient care. In his free time Bryce enjoys hiking and traveling, and is always up for a game of basketball or softball.

Kylie Rowe

As the most recent addition to the Potrero clinic, Kylie Rowe was happily welcomed to the team in August of 2016. An Australian native, she received her Bachelor of Applied Science in Physiotherapy from University of Sydney in 1986 with emphases on Maitland and McKenzie manual therapy, exercise techniques and philosophies. She has 30 years of experience working in both private practice and hospital outpatient settings. In 2014, Kylie pursued her DPT at the University of South Dakota and ventured into education, teaching Physical Therapy, Therapeutic Exercise and Advanced Clinical Problems at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA. At Pacific, Kylie developed the community program “Living Healthy Living with Pain”. Moving to San Francisco, Kylie brings to Potrero this special interest in working with people diagnosed with chronic neck pain, back pain, shoulder, knee and arthritic conditions. In her spare time Kylie enjoys walking, swimming, and attending jazz concerts and musical theatre productions.
